Probably The Best Idea I've Ever Had

I apologise greatly for my absence.

If you want to come and give me a slap on the wrist that's fine. I should have kept you updated, my children.

To be honest my life has NOT been that exciting. I will, however, bring up something that has been bugging me for a few weeks:

New Years.

I hate New Years.

I hate celebrating it.

I hate thinking about it.

I hate being reminded about it.

I hate being outcasted because I hate it.

Please, PLEASE tell me what is so fantastic about thinking about the year that has gone past and how quickly it's gone. We are forced to think about yet another year that will go too quickly and how being 20 for a year doesn't feel as long as being 16 for a year.

DON'T REMIND ME.

It's sooooo depressing, and I feel as though its forced on me.

Why can't we invent a Calendar that doesn't start in January and finishes in December, we should invent AN EVERLASTING CALENDAR!!!

An everlasting calendar that would contain one 'Null' month that just lasts 31 days and repeats itself, every 12th 'Null Month' we'd celebrate Christmas, and all the other celebrations.

This is probably the best idea I've ever had.

Pulling Out My Eyeballs

So this is the first time I've written a blog via mobile; Blogger updated recently to give easier access. So, I'm pretty chuffed.

Why am I writing this via mobile instead of my regular desktop way? Well I was sat in a foreign room with two options on my hands, shall I write a blog post to entertain my grateful audience? Or shall I pull my eye balls out with fish hooks and boil my head? Yeah, I tried the latter first.

So, Christmas is coming soon and there's many, many things coming up that need documenting!

To begin with I will begin in the most logical place: the beginning.

My friend's girlfriend is playing her very first gig in Bicester tomorrow, an I have to say that I am SO excited! You should check them out on faceyb and twitter:

Dirty Sweet Lies Faceyb

Dirty Sweet Lies Twitter

Being the lead singer of Dirty Sweet Lies, Nicole Bartlett, and just being a generally awesome person, I will be having her guest appear on my next video blog! Awesome times chaps and chapettes.

Again, my photography skills (amateur though they are) will be coming into play at the gig, might have to set somewhere up where you can all view them.

Next, my new film is now online and I am thoroughly chuffed, click here so you can watch it! I hope you enjoy, let me know what you think in the comments box.

There's also a new 'Whiny Little Bitches' out! Catch episode 3 now!

Feeling a little betrayed by people at the moment, at times when I feel like I need a friend or someone to talk to, they just blank it all out as if nothings going on. It may be me, I don't know, but I'm sure you have people you'd like to rely on but they're just too unreliable; you give them so much regard and they just disregard you when you need them. Oh well.

And that's about it for now, if any of you out there want a hand in any upcoming projects just give me a holla on Facebook or twitter (links at the top of page).

I think this may have stopped me Pulling Out My Eyeballs,

The Update of My Life

Hello everyone,

I apologise for my brief disappearance from Blog posting but, have no fear, I return.

In this time many, many things have happened; I have been working out, getting absolutely hammered dressed as Thor and even more geeky.

So, to begin with I went for a workout with my General Manager and my podcasting brother and after 2 and a half hours of intense Running, weight lifting and boxing. It was CRAZY, I ache like hell, but I did get home and say to myself 'I FEEL LIKE A MAN!!'

And then it was the most awesome Staff Christmas Party, in which I drank far too much and arrived as the most handsome Thor!

I have to say, this is definitely the best Christmas Staff Party ever, I really enjoyed this, I think many, many other people did. I am, however, a little worried about the atrocious drunken photos that have yet to surface.

And next I got some new comics and been watching geeky Comic Book Men. I got my hands on Deadpool Marvel Now! #2 and #3 and the new Thunderbolts Marvel Now! #1 ; these were absolutely fantastic and if you have any appreciation for comics then you NEED to pick these up.

The Thunderbolts (well the new iteration anyway) is a team of anti-Heroes; Red Hulk, Electra, Venom, Punisher and Deadpool; it's gonna be a good series. If you're interested in chatting about them, let me know!

I am going to a friend and colleague's house tomorrow to start jamming for this band we're trying to set up, and I'm getting myself a Harmonica tomorrow, hopefully, and will add that to my Musical Portfolio.

Also saw the final cut of my latest film and it looks frigging awesome, if i do say so myself.

And, I also had managed to SPEAK a entire 2,199 word essay; seriously. Used the new dictation interface on the Mac operating system and it worked SO well!

And, I think thats it for my life update, I'll talk about something that isn't just myself next time hopefully!

SONG CHOICE OF THE DAYYYYY!!!

Today's song is going to be in the theme of workouts and so I've chosen a song that I was listening to on the running machines today; 'Flesh and Bone (Jacques Lu Cont Remix)' by The Killers on their new album 'Battleborn'. Press Play here!                                                                        I won't give you a low-down on The Killers because they're fairly famous. But this is a nice remix to work out and hopefully you'll be inspired to get fit after listening to it!
See you soon my friends,

I know you needed The Update of My Life,

Letting Me Tell You About What We Do Here

And i'm back again for another Blog Post; a fair few interesting this to cover.

Firstly, I've been told that my blog posts are getting shorter, people have been getting disgruntled; fear not, I shall be trying to make them longer.

Anyway, I'd like to talk about Religion.

PLEASE don't let this scare you off, I'm not going to be pushing religion on you, just some interesting things I'd like to bestow upon you.

I was talking with a work colleague today (Miss Amy Clark, to be precise) about Religion and I love the fact she was so interested in hearing about it (maybe she's just nodding and smiling to stop me talking, I have that effect on people) because most people these days don't give one flying finger about religion, so it's refreshing.

So the first area of religion that was discussed was the Old Testament and how unbelievable it is.

(I know this refers to the New Testament)

Now I'd like to tell you about my priest, Father Kevin who, unfortunately has cancer (God Bless him), and something he said to me. Once I approached him and said:

"Look, I really can't believe the Old Testament, it's so... unbelievable, I guess. I mean, Moses actually parting the Sea?"

And next, is the most interesting and comforting thing any priest could say;

"None of those things in the Old Testament are true."

Wow, that is the coolest priest ever.

He then went on to say:

"I say that in the sense that Moses probably didn't part the sea, he probably just hopped on a boat and rode across with the Slaves away from the Egyptians. Now, put yourself into the time that the Bible was written; the majority of the population are uneducated, unlearned peasants, who lead very simple lives. Now, how do you convey the mastery, majesty and might of the almighty being 'God' to these simple people?

You can't turn around and say 'Moses rode on a boat over the sea and God helped him through the Holy Spirit' because that'd make no sense to these people. So, as written in the bible, you over exaggerate to be able to convey his power

'Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.

The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemenfollowed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion.' Exodus 14:21-23

And then it all made sense!

Well, I hope that wasn't too religious for you.

I'll talk about the Rapture in the next post.

Next two exciting pieces of news. First: I'M KIND OF IN A SEMI-CREATED BAND MAYBE THAT MIGHT START UP SOON!!!! Its a half-dream come true.

That's correct True Believers, it was discussed today between myself and another friend at the start up of a White Stripes/Jack White/Queens of the Stone Age/Foo Fighters-type band, 3 piece probably! More news to come.

Second; I might do Open-Mic Nights again! Now thats probably actually bad news because you'll have to hear my bad singing, and I apologise in advance. But, I could do with as much support as possible, so if you guys could drop me a Tweet or comment or something with some wise words of wisdom and support, that'd be awesomesauce.

Next, I have a video I was asked to create for Cineworld Cinemas LTD earlier this year and have only got around to uploading it now. I hope you enjoy it, I cut the video and the audio of everything together, including the trailers, and then I filmed, lit and edited all of the other footage, creating masks for all the trailers too. I hope you like!

And now a BEARD BABY UPDATE!

This is day number 24 and I'm in my onesie:

And finally SONG OF THE DAYYYYYY!!

The wonderful, most righteous and uplifting bands of my Secondary School and current life, probably part of my Life Soundtrack, is The Rocket Summer.

A one-piece band by the brilliant Bryce Avarwho is based in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Avary is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer. He writes and produces every song on his records, and plays every instrument on them. He is incredible and the song I would like you to listen to is 'Brat Pack'. Listen here: Brat Pack. And don't get too attracted to him, HE'S MINE, OKAY?! I mean, what...
And so I bid you adieu and thank you for Letting Me Tell You About What We Do Here.
